I posted the Study Guide answer key for the Global Energy summit and climate change Exam (or the part that I have done). Your exam on that will be postponed to Friday, May 11th.

April 23rd- check task 1 Global energy summit,learning log 2, notes on atmospheric composition, homework= Begin the study guide (under exams and study guides)
April 24th – Fossil Fuels and Carbon emissions Lab, homework = reading guide on air pollution
April 25th/26th – check reading guide on air pollution, finish structure of atmosphere and global warming notes, quiz on fossil fuels and atmospheric composition.
April 27th – Renewable Energy Sources positively affect the GDP of a country, Montreal Protocol vs. Kyoto protocol and solutions to air pollution dilemmas.
April 30th = Review for AP Exam, Holding a review session after school for the global energy summit exam
May 1st= Review for AP Exam
May 2nd/May 3rd= Global Energy Summit Exam
May 4th= Review for AP Exam
May 5th (Saturday)= Review session at school for the AP Exam
May 7th = AP EXAM

7:30am arrive at Pescadero Marsh, hike to the old Eucalyptus tree and back, observing birds and plants
12:00pm head to the beach –> eat lunch on the beach and go over intertidal organisms
1:05pm low tide (0.32 ft)
2:05pm swing by the San Gregorio store for some live music and quick shopping
5:00pm arrive back at school
2/27 -collect data on ecosystems, intro due, work on materials and procedures
2/28 – materials and procedures due, collect data on ecosystems, complete data tables 1 and 2, and start 3
2/29-2/1 – collect data on ecosystems, complete results for trials 1-3, and begin for ecosystems measurements
2/2- complete data on ecosystems, complete on discussion template
Homework: finish first draft –> due Mon.
Monday: Review organic vs. inorganic, Task 6 negotiations with neighbors.
Homework: Bring task 6 back to class tomorrow, Study Guide for Exam, Retake quizzes
Tuesday: Do Now, go over task 6, finish task 6 (turn in task 5 and task 6), start Food Systems Quiz 5: Industrial Food systems.
Homework: Continue working on Study Guide for test, and come to class with questions Wednesday and Thursday.
Wednesday/Thursday: Do Now check, finish Food Systems Quiz 5: Industrial Food Systems, notes on irrigation, review for exam (questions on study guide and answer)

It covers: Biogeochemical Cycles, Pest Management, Soil management, water use/irrigation, Industrial food systems.
Tuesday: Do Now, Food systems quiz 4: Soil management, plan for the materials your group members are bringing for your filtration system.
Homework: Finish your Introduction for your waste water filtration lab (using APA format).
Wednesday/Thursday: Do Now, collect Introductions for waste water filtration lab (NO LATE intros accepted), waste water treatment lab (data tables 1 and 2 for before filtration), Build filtration systems
Homework: Bring in your soil salinization lab, soil composition lab (all highlighted in green) and your guided reading on soils –> I am collected all of them on FRIDAY.
Friday: Do Now check, go over soil composition results and discussion, go over soil salinization lab results and discussion, collect all the soil materials (except the notes).
Homework: If you are a junior and were NOT here last friday, you need to do the soil 2 notes on your own. Many of you failed to check in with me about missing work. Because you are taking a senior class you are responsible for the day you were absent for the PLAN test. You must do the soil 2 notes, and if you failed to do them before the quiz, and struggled, then you will need to retake the quiz.

1st and 2nd period: go over discussion portion of toxicity lab (due at the end of the period), work on Introduction section of Filtration Lab
4th and 5th period: go over results and discussion of toxicity lab (DUE at the end of the period), work on filtration lab introduction Due Friday by the end of class.

Homework= complete guided reading on soil types, and graphic organizer for introduction to soil types.
1/10/12 schedule: Do now, get homework initialed, write soil lab introduction, Task 4: Soil Salinization Lab – develop a procedure and set up lab/do lab, take food systems quiz 4: Soil
1/11/12- 1/12/12 schedule: Do Now, Task 4: Soil Salinization Lab + Toxicity lab data tables completed
1/13/12 schedule: Go over the Compile results for Toxicity Lab and make graph for the results.
